The life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people on the Day of Sacrifice and said: "O people, what day is this?" They said: "A sacred day." "And what city is this?" "A sacred city." "And what month is this?" "A sacred month." He said: "Your blood, your property and your honour are sacred to you, as sacred as this day of yours, in this city of yours, in this month of yours." He repeated it several times, then raised his head and said: "O Allah, have I conveyed? O Allah, have I conveyed?" … "Let the one present convey it to the one absent. Do not turn back after me into disbelievers striking one another's necks."
