The life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
The Prophet ﷺ was praying by the House (the Kaaba) while Abu Jahl and some companions of his sat nearby. One of them said to the others: "Who will bring the afterbirth of the slaughtered she-camel of Banu so-and-so and put it on Muhammad's back when he prostrates?" The most wretched of them went, brought it, waited until the Prophet ﷺ prostrated and put it on his back between his shoulders. I was watching, unable to change anything; if only I had had the means to protect him! They began laughing, leaning on one another, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in prostration without raising his head, until Fatima came and threw it off his back. Then he raised his head and said: "O Allah, deal with Quraysh!"
