RassoulAllah ﷺ
About
One verified fact about the Prophet ﷺ, every day.
Why this site
Every day, RassoulAllah offers one fact about the life, character and words of the Prophet ﷺ, to come to know him a little better, one day at a time.
Around the fact of the day, anyone can leave a short reflection, which disappears at midnight. On the globe, visitors from all over the world leave a message of love for him ﷺ.
Reflections and messages are written by visitors: they are not religious rulings.
The name “RassoulAllah”
“Rasul Allah” (رسول الله, Rasūl Allāh) means “the Messenger of God”. It is one of the titles the Quran gives the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Surah 48, verse 29). It is written in many ways: Rasulullah, RassoulAllah, Rasool Allah, Rasul Allah.
His name, Muhammad (محمد), means “the praised one”. It is also spelled Mohammed, Mohammad, Muhammed or Mohamed. He is also called an-Nabi, “the Prophet”, and his name is followed by ﷺ, ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam: “may God bless him and grant him peace”.
How facts are chosen
Each fact comes from a recognised source: the Quran, the hadith collections (with their grade of authenticity) or the works of sira. The exact reference is always shown, so anyone can check it.
No fact is published without being read and approved by Sira. If you think a source is wrong, every fact has a report button for exactly that.
