The meals of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
He went in with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Maymuna — his maternal aunt and the aunt of Ibn Abbas — and found with her a roasted lizard (dabb). … The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew his hand back from the lizard. Khalid ibn al-Walid asked: "Is the lizard forbidden, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "No, but it was not found in the land of my people, and I find I dislike it." Khalid said: "I pulled it towards me and ate it while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was looking at me."
