The children of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

I never saw anyone more tender towards his family than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Ibrahim was being nursed in the upper districts of Medina (al-Awali). He would go there, and we with him; he would enter the house, which was full of smoke — the foster father was a blacksmith — take the child, kiss him, and then return. … When Ibrahim died, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Ibrahim is my son; he died while still nursing, and he has two nurses who will complete his nursing in Paradise."
